My house is a work in progress.

The bathroom finally has a linoleum floor!

Last part of the hallway that needs drywall

Extra Piece of Linoleum we placed in the Foyer to cover up some of the old 50's green tile!

My lovely dining room floor, this obviously still needs some work.

Well we moved into our house two years ago now, and since the day we moved in we have been working on it. Tearing it apart and building it back up. Now the pressure is on with the bump coming into the world in December! Well after some wonderful "high strung" conversations with my husband, progress is starting to be made, and the count down is on. I will be 20 weeks this coming week and so we are hitting the half way point! Here are some wonderful pictures to show how wonderful my house is beginning to look!

Life is about to change for me! Woo hoo in a good way. We now have the internet! Yeah! I am so glad and relieved, however Matt is concerned that I will be spending way to much time on the internet, especially blogs. (He never has been much of a techy!) I am so thrilled with the idea of getting up in the morning and reading my blogs. Beside that now I can add pictures once the baby comes! I am sooooo excited.

A great husband.

So last night I really was feeling like doing anything. Let alone cooking another dinner. Even though I know that it really isn't that big of a deal and that I do usually loving cooking for people. I got home and Matt had maked grilled cheese and tomato soup! And although it is one of the easiest meals. He gets an A++++ because it meant alot for him to help me. And he even promised me to make his famous homemade Strawberry milkshakes with fresh strawberries. I have such a wonderful husband. Thanks Farm boy!

Starting to blog.

So today Jake and Megs are here visiting and it is wonderful to have them here! I am feeling a little funky because I am feeling very distant from all my friends. Now being married and wanting to start a family, we seem to becoming distant from some of our normal friends. We are not at the same spot anymore. Megs and I talked alot about this. Doesn't it seem silly that it is so hard to make new friends. We have done it all our lives in High School and College but when we are out in the world of work and family it seems we have forgotten how to come out of our shells and make friends. I am also growing in my faith , which is wonderful, but I would like to grow in friendships at church too! I feel like I am not quite ready to help be involved in leadership activities but I still need to do some growing and searching and need to be led a little my self! Meg and Jake's seem to be doing blogs a lot so I figured I would try it. So here it is!
